First off to those Husker fans attending the game, welcome to Oregon! We are so happy to have you traveling into the state to support the Huskers and take in and explore a little of what this great state has to offer.
For those of you on the fence as to whether you'll attend, there are plenty of tickets and ticket prices decreasing daily on main online sites. Eugene craigslist is also filled with Duck fans selling tickets. There are plenty of rooms still 45 min -11/2 hour north of game in Albany, Lebanon, Salem and Woodburn. Budget Inn in Albany is $80.00 a night.
My personal plea to you, I've been to many Duck games in this venue and the fans can overwhelm an opposing team. We need everyone of you here wearing RED, yelling loud like we did at the Washington game a few years back to put a little shock into this fan base by how well we travel. They have had many top teams here who's fans travel well, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Washington, USC. Let's put 15,000 in the stands and let them see what tradition and pride in team and state is all about!
