Heading to the game and will spend Friday night in Champaign IL before finishing the drive to Bloomington Saturday morning. No problem finding hotels or tickets. Where are Husker fans gathering and are Husker fans wearing black to be distinguished from Hoosier fans?

On the Hoosiers for Huskers twitter page, they are encouraging Husker fans to wear black. They are having a tailgate before the game too.

How long of a drive is it to Bloomington from Omaha? 12 hours I'm guessing? Including potty breaks.

I looked at flights to Indy and prices were starting at $630 round trip per ticket. Decided to drive.

eh i've driven to lafayette from eastern nebraska so many times that i'd drive the extra hour or so to bloomington in a heartbeat. too bad can't go this time :(

I used to have a hate-filled, mentally unstable coworker many moons ago. I had a heart-to-heart talk with him to ask what his problem was. It boiled down to he hated his father. His dad used to go on long trips with the family and pee into a coffee can when he felt the need. He made my coworker, his sister and his mom suffer by only stopping when he needed gas.

eh... my fiance has gotten better :) being a traveling nurse does that i suppose... we drive so much that we pretty much just plan out our stops every couple hours barring emergencies.

My wife is from central Wisconsin. When it's me and the dog, it takes 7 hrs and 45 mins. When it was me the wife and dog, it took 8 hrs and 15 mins. Now it's me, the wife, the dog, a 2 year old and a 7 week old, it took over 9 hrs last week.

I drive from LA to Omaha every summer...2 solid 12 hour drives....with 2 dogs ...its a circus

Ironically we are moving to northwest wisconsin in a few weeks if our house decides to finally close.

Jugs of human waste. See urban dictionary "trucker bombs". That's not apple juice along the roadsides! North Dakota has a real problem with all the truckers & only 3 or 4 rest stops.

What city? My wife is from Wausau. She has a lot of family on that area.

Durand. Thatwhole area by the mississippi river bluffs is gorgeous. There's also a ton of cheap and sometime gorgeous housing up in that whole area if you can handle snow. We found one we liked and I guess I like the idea of nobody wanting to live there lol

We were in wausau a few weeks ago for one reason or another. Like I said we looked all over.
