I have spent the last 5 years working as a Financial Advisor and I am tired of selling, and quite frankly I feel that the traditional advisor role will be going through significant changes over the next decade as investing and planning becomes more technologically driven. I am looking to get into more of an analyst role or something where I can utilize the skills i have obtained in investment analysis, trading, modeling, risk management, marketing and presenting. I have a management degree from Nebraska Wesleyan. I am going to have to take a substantial pay cut, but I am just not motivated anymore to spend my entire career selling managed money and insurance, when I would rather tell my clients to utilize Wealth Front or one of the other robo-advisors. I am looking for some direction and a lead if possible. Thank you for all of your comments and help in advance.
