Transfer Portal ?’s Jaylin Bradley

So admittedly I’m not clear on how the transfer portal works, but specifically what options does Jaylin Bradley still have with the Huskers, if any? Hypothetically, if he is in good standing both academically and legally, would he be able to return to the Nebraska roster fall should he wish to?

I would say only as a walkon, if anything. Andrew Bunch is the only player I know of who entered the portal and returned to the team, but he didn't count against the scholarship limit as a walkon and was a good teammate.

Once in the portal you're scholarship and spot is back in the hands of the staff. A player can return to the team but the staff has to approve it. I had heard that Greg Bell after entering wanted to come back but Frost said no

That was true I believe, heard it as well. But Bell burned his bridges with a bad attitude. Didn't leave under good terms and allowing his return would likely have not been good for team morale.
