It’s a departure and good for them for going in a direction that they want to go in. They did the stadium rock sound with 10 and achieved huge commercial success which allowed them to try different things.

Besides 10, VS, and Vitalogy (I loved all three by the way) I have not listened much to their later stuff. I’ve listened to some of Backspacer and it was pretty good.
