Took all guys rated 4-stars or better - that's how I ended up with 18.

Typical "Athletes" list - full of busts.

Best player on this list was #17, who ended up playing for Scott Frost at UCF in 2017.

#12 was a JUCO All-American QB at Iowa Western in 2017 after it appeared that his career had been completely derailed.

1.) Terry Godwin, Georgia; 5-stars, 6.1 RR, #10 on the Rivals 100, 2nd-best prospect in Georgia; Georgia's 2nd-leading receiver in 2017; Has started 27 games over three seasons in Athens and has 111 career receptions.

Had 127 receptions over three years at Clemson

2.) Ray-Ray McCloud, Clemson; 5-stars, 6.1 RR, #23 on the Rivals 100, 9th-best prospect in Florida; Two-year starter at WR for Clemson who was also a stellar punt returner; Honorable-mention All-ACC in 2017; Declared early for the 2018 NFL Draft; Finished career with 127 receptions for 1,226 yards and 4 TDs.

3.) Brian Cole, Michigan; 4-stars, 5.9 RR, #101 on the Rivals 250, 2nd-best prospect in Michigan; Is now a safety at Mississippi State, but had to redshirt in 2017 due to academic reasons; Got booted by Michigan after one season and spent 2016 at East Mississippi ("Last Chance U.).

4.) Dechaun Holiday, UCLA; 4-stars, 5.9 RR, #102 on the Rivals 250, 16th-best prospect in California; A linebacker, Holiday has appeared in 13 games over the past two seasons with one start; Has 13 tackles in his career; Has been hampered with injuries throughout his career; Redshirted in 2015.

5.) Stanley Norman, Arizona State; 4-stars, 5.9 RR, #140 on the Rivals 250, 22nd-best prospect in California; Is now a defensive back at FCS Lamar University in Texas; Grayshirted at Arizona State in 2015 and then spent 2016 and 2017 at Ceritos College (California JUCO).

6.) Eric Glover-Williams, Ohio State; 4-stars, 5.9 RR, #147 on the Rivals 250, 6th-best prospect in Ohio; Now at Mississippi Gulf Coast (JUCO); Was booted from Ohio State prior to the 2017 season; Appeared in 20 games over two seasons in Columbus, mostly on special teams.

7.) Stephen Johnson III, UCLA; 4-stars, 5.8 RR, #189 on the Rivals 250, 27th-best prospect in California; A WR, Johnson did not see the field in 2017; Has appeared in ten games total and has 8 receptions for 123 yards in his career.

8.) Austin Joyner, Washington; 4-stars, 5.8 RR, 3rd-best prospect in Washington state; Starting cornerback for the Huskies in 2017; Reserve CB in 2016; Appeared in two games as a true freshman in 2015 but received a medical redshirt; Has 50 tackles, 6 TFL, and 2 INTs in his career.

9.) J.W. Ketchum, Baylor; 4-stars, 5.8 RR, 44th-best prospect in Texas; No longer in football; Booted from Baylor's program in his freshman season after he was arrested for possession of weed by Baylor police; Signed with Navarro (Texas JUCO) for the 2016 season but never made it there.

10.) Kamonte Carter, Penn State; 4-stars, 5.8 RR, 5th-best prospect in Maryland; Spent 2017 as a reserve D-lineman for Pitt and had 8 tackles in nine games; Announced earlier this year that he is transferring again; Redshirted at Penn State in 2015, got booted from the team the following spring, and spent 2016 at East Mississippi ("Last Chance U.").

11.) Lonny Powell, Cal; 4-stars, 5.8 RR, 43rd-best prospect in California; No longer in football, having never played a down; Redshirted in his only season (2015) at Cal, then spent 2016 at American River (California JUCO).

Kai Locksley managed to right his career at Iowa Western

12.) Kai Locksley, Texas; 4-stars, 5.8 RR, 6th-best prospect in Maryland; Now at QB at Texas-El Paso; Left Texas after 2015; Spent 2016 at Arizona Western but didn't do much there; Had to walk-on at Iowa Western for the 2017 season, but ended up as a JUCO All-American there.

13.) Javaris Davis, Auburn; 4-stars, 5.8 RR, 49th-best prospect in Florida; Cornerback who has 66 tackles, 4 INTs and a forced fumble over two seasons; Redshirted in 2015.

Two-year starter at Michigan State

14.) Andrew Dowell, Michigan State; 4-stars, 5.8 RR, 12th-best prospect in Ohio; Two-year starter at Star linebacker for the Spartans; Mostly a special teams player in 2015; Has 163 tackles, 6.5 TFL, and one INT in three seasons.

15.) D'Anfernee McGriff, Florida; 4-stars, 5.8 RR, 52nd-best prospect in Florida; Now at Florida Atlantic, where he was a slot receiver in 2017; Had 8 receptions for 66 yards in 2017; Didn't qualify out of HS and spent 2015 and 2016 at Iowa Western.

16.) Daiquan Kelly, Penn State; 4-stars, 5.8 RR, 9th-best prospect in New Jersey; Didn't play football in 2017; Got booted from Penn State before his freshman year started; Transferred to UMass but only spent a semester there; Spent 2016 at Merced (California JUCO).

Mike Hughes, North Carolina; 4-stars, 5.8 RR, 10th-best prospect in North Carolina; Played cornerback for Scott Frost at UCF in 2017; Was first-team All-American Athletic Conference; Declared early and is projected by some to go in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft; Spent 2016 at Garden City (Kansas JUCO); Had 12 tackles in his only season in Chapel Hill; Charged with misdemeanor assault inflicting serious injury after an incident that happened at a fraternity house in Chapel Hill in 2015.

18.) Darius Slayton, Auburn; 4-stars, 5.8 RR, 31st-best prospect in Georgia; Two-year starter at WR for Auburn; Redshirted in 2015; Has 44 receptions for 935 yards and 6 TDs over two seasons.

Hard-hitting safety who probably should have been starting in 2017

NR Antonio Reed, Nebraska; 5.4 RR, NR among the top prospects in Mississippi; Spent most of 2017 backing up Josh Kalu at safety and probably should have been starting over Kalu; Has 74 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, and 1 INT through three seasons in Lincoln.
