He is a gunslinger and has enough success where he probably doesn't feel like he needs to make wholesale changes. It's like that pull hitter in baseball that refuses to go the other way. He has a tendency to loft the ball up in the air on long throws with a wide open receiver. In a windy scenario like we had yesterday you will get some duck farts like he threw up on that interception.

I'm the biggest Tommy fan on the board. But I'm sick of watching some of his decisions. I hate dumb things in sports. It's not even necessary half the time.



Even though it seems when the pass play is crucial he will use proper footwork.

He also makes a ton of plays.. It was evident when Ryker Fyfe came in the game that we are toast without Tommy until we get some other studs in. Also, do you remember Everett Golson a few years back. Made mistakes, but also made enough plays to take his team to the national title game. If we had just a little more D this year, we could have been sitting pretty. you live with Tommy, and you die with Tommy, but thus far Tommy hasn't really caused us that much pain in the grand scheme of things.

Miami - chucking it up for grabs on 1st down in OT
Illinois - passing the ball on a run play stopping the clock, 10/31 with an INT
Wisconsin - 11/28
Northwestern - pick 6 where he panicked and threw it right to the defender - lost by 2
Rutgers - gave up 14 points on his own and essentially neutered the entire offense in the second half

all of the above were extremely painful and were almost 100% mental

Listen I know Tommy has faults, but of all the games you listed, Illinois was really the only one that you could really pin it on him, and even then.... That was just bad management. The kid is a gamer, and we have seen what happens when Fyfe comes in. Is he perfect no...

I'll give you 1/6 on your list to TA. I think we forget if the defense was playing as good as they appear to be now, those 50+ yard scoring drives don't happen and NU is sitting at 8-3, 9-2 pretty easy.

Go back and read what I said. Tommy has his faults, but it is a stretch to say he is losing us these games. He is basically the reason we are in a lot of these games to begin with. Also, if we had good D in key situations, things would have been different. Tommy makes mistakes, but right now in my opinion if we don't have him we are probably a 1 or 2 win team.

There was a swirling wind in Rutgers. Causes big problems for the QB and kicking games. Anyone else notice that in the second half it was pretty much just running plays and almost no deep balls? Langsdorf is learning, or at least for one half of a game he got it right

Northwestern - Take away the pick six, the game is COMPLETELY different.

Not pinning everything on him but there have been huge key plays in each loss, each game really that have been or could have been huge momentum swings and outright game losers.
