it is notis that photoshopped?
That’s because he was stuck in the corner in the Huskers’ stand-around-and-do-nothing offense. When NU finally put an emphasis on moving without the ball, Tominaga thrived.Best athlete in the state. Best showman in the state. Decent chance he makes Husker history in one way or another this season if he stays healthy.
Funny how a few years back he was the basketball version of Haarberg to many on the forums. People were saying he should be playing for Peru State!![]()
What? He’s not close to even being the best basketball player in the State, or the best athlete on campus. Jordy Bahl perhaps?Best athlete in the state. Best showman in the state. Decent chance he makes Husker history in one way or another this season if he stays healthy.

I just hope that with Walker gone, NU doesn’t revert back to standing still. Walker was kind of the catalyst that made it all click.
Tominaga is not a better athlete than HaarbergWho is the best basketball player in the state? If Jordy Bahl thinks she is a better athlete than Tominaga, then I'll let her have it.
Forgot about The Champ though. Tominaga best amateur athlete in the state at the moment.
I totally agree that there was some addition by subtraction after the 21-22 season. But even early last year it looked like NU would be the same-old, same-old: stand around, make a few obligatory passes, then say to yourself, "it's my turn to shoot."He wasn't stuck in the corner. He was stuck on a team with incredibly selfish players.
Would he be starting for Creighton?Best athlete in the state. Best showman in the state. Decent chance he makes Husker history in one way or another this season if he stays healthy.

Would it help if he was from a small town on Shikoku?Tominaga is not a better athlete than Haarberg
Obviously

NO ONE loves the Big Ten more than Andy. I like him and his interviews are good/fun, and I sort of think he knows he is playing a role and he knows that everyone else knows he is playing a role. If that makes sense.it is not
Andy Katz is an shameless B1G homer, but it's nice to have it go in our favor for once
Maybe not. The jays did manage to score like 15 points vs SDSU. HahaWithout a doubt in my mind
If you actually think he’s a better player than Kalkbrenner or Alexander, heck Scheierman, you’re deluded. He’s a one dimension smiley dude. Nothing more. Whatever.Who is the best basketball player in the state? If Jordy Bahl thinks she is a better athlete than Tominaga, then I'll let her have it.

I see the Jay signal went off. Quick rally the troops! HahaIf you actually think he’s a better player than Kalkbrenner or Alexander, heck Scheierman, you’re deluded. He’s a one dimension smiley dude. Nothing more. Whatever.
Preach! There were some really fun games last winter.I totally agree that there was some addition by subtraction after the 21-22 season. But even early last year it looked like NU would be the same-old, same-old: stand around, make a few obligatory passes, then say to yourself, "it's my turn to shoot."
That changed when Walker came back from whatever medical situation was keeping him out. Something clicked between him and Tominaga, and eventually Lawrence, and Nebraska was suddenly no longer the easiest team on the planet to guard. Tominaga, to his great credit, was no longer a standstill ornament waiting for a shot - he saw an opportunity to use his creativity and international experience, and he made the most of it. Lawrence can absolutely fly, and his talent also began to show.
Maybe Fred's revamped staff played a role in this too - I don't really know. But whatever was behind it, I hope it continues. I don't expect the Huskers to be great this year, but hopefully they can at least be interesting and fun to watch. Last year was the first time in a long time that you could say that.
Do you know basketball, because this is not what I consider one dimensional? Get your Creighton goggles off and recognize a good player when you see one. I would consider Kalkbrenner more one dimensional by the definitionIf you actually think he’s a better player than Kalkbrenner or Alexander, heck Scheierman, you’re deluded. He’s a one dimension smiley dude. Nothing more. Whatever.
^^^ and a lot more one-dimensional this year with all we've lost. Gonna be a rough BB season. One reason I'm at least hopeful for our BB program - only need a small handful of elite, paid players to put out a quality, competitive team.

So to prove he's not one dimensional you point only to his shooting stats. Got it.One dimensional? He was flirting with a 50/40/90 season until the final weeks last year. Dude is one the most skilled basketball players to roll through the state in quite a while. I suggest you put the Bluejay gear away for the season and enjoy the show.
Oh he's a good player, not sayin that. Watched most of their games last season, guy stepped up at some key moments, for sure, especially toward the end of the season when the entire team was injured. AM opining that we've lost some talent this year compared to last, at least on paper, and opposing D's keying in on other players last year are gonna be focused more on Keisei than prior. He proved last season that he is a lot more than just a 3-point shooter. He has one of the deepest bags I have seen from a Nebraska basketball player.
I guess some people are more impressed by Kalkbrenner jumping 2 inches to dunk the ball and then screaming like a bluejay hatchling on his way back down the court.
