I thought I heard some say at point that his family hated snow and loves living in Cali....... Is he even working this season?
No, didn't get picked up by another NFL team, wants to be RB coach. Not sure how old his children are, they could be out of HS by now.
I'd cry. I loved Rathman before I even knew about the Huskers......
99% sure Ali & Nicole are in college and Samantha graduated.
I think we hear the Rathman rumor (and that he is bringing Jerry Rice with him) every time there is a coaching change. And since that rumor is 0/infinity I'm not holding my breath. At my age that's not more than a few seconds anyway.
Bro this this is the same story the past 5 hires. He ain’t coming. He loves us. But he ain’t coming. However to save face I will say it’s possible. No sources just tired of hearing this. Plus if he did it would be positional as his offensive philosophy is nothing close to what Frost wants to do.

Has Scott lived in Florida for a couple of decades? Has Scott passed up opportunities to coach elsewhere just to stay in Florida?
It would be awesome if this proved to be true and Tom came home as well, but I just don’t see it.
Just Googled him and he did coach in Detroit for 3 years mid-career, so maybe he isn’t as anchored to full-time CA as some believe. Obviously he can have a home in both places. Here in AZ lots of people live that way. For example, on one side our Canadian neighbor spends six months a year in Vancouver and on the other side the neighbor spends about two thirds of the time in Sioux Falls. Airplanes are amazing inventions.
Tom will just be the FB coach. Mike Rozier will coach RBs, and Will Shields to coach OL, and Barrett Ruud to coach LBs, Tyrone Williams for Corners and Mike Minter for Safeties, who else? Oh Erstad is gonna coach baseball and special teams, Wistrom is coaching DL, Johnny Mitchell is TE coach, Irving Fryar is WR coach.

Sarcasm aside, Rathman seems to be unemployed so it’s not ridiculous to think he’d be available. But he may not even know Frost.
