I work at hotels and I've meet my fair share of baseball players through rehab assignments and quality guys coming up through Triple A baseball. But today I meet Angel Pagan and he happened to be the most down to earth professional athlete that I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with.
He had high regards to what the Royals were doing and talked about how fun that series was last season. The Giants are currently behind the Dodgers and he thought it would come down to the last week of the season for the division. I explained it must be crazy to play all these games during the season and yet the division can still be seperated by 1 or 2 games during the last week. He spoke about his sleep schedule and a great time he's had in Omaha.
Fantastic guy and even though I'm a Braves fan I'll be rooting for Pagan. Think he'll DH maybe Friday.
