Please give us some good news. Nothing against Tanner, nice guy and all, but he threw about ten potential INTs today.

Worst case, burn Gebbia's shirt. He may be a stick, but he can move.

The OL has struggled but Lee also has no awareness and command of the game. He doesn't check at the, never understands where pressure is coming from, etc. He is a guy that is great off PA with a clean pocket, but not good on 3rd and 7, when you have to have it. Maybe Gebbia or POB could give the O some life.

gebbia might give us the best chance just because he can move some. this OL is atrocious.

I believe a QB change would help. Tanner is not some young guy. He's a 22? 23? year old QB with multiple years under his belt. There are a lot of simple things adding up that do not look good right now. The intangibles matter a lot at the QB position. Tanner looks like he is spraying and praying out there.

I would too with no running game or pass protection. He's getting bum rushed every play.

The inability to run the ball on a constant basis hurt the defense could just pin there ears back and go after the statue qb we have, les miles pointed it out correctly fullback in go right at them stop the fancy stuff. Tanner lee must be a great one to practice but in game situations is gawd awful try POB what does Riley aka forest gump have to lose I'm sure he's already on the extremely hot seat

We played right into their hands throwing the ball 50 times, that's for sure. We let their undersized DL do what they do best.

Gebbia is head and shoulders better than both guys in front of him. I am not sure that you burn his shirt now if the year is going to be a train wreck.

If he is what we think he is, he'll be gone before it matters anyway. Put him in I say.

Lee won't work with what we have for an offense. Gebbia has moxie, leadership - whatever you want to call it. That is what the team needs more than his running or scrambling ability. But if we want to try POB first - so be it - we need a change. Lee is a sub 55% career passer that can't run that makes bad decisions.........time to move on.

Call me crazy but I don't think putting in a 185 pound true freshman behind a hapless O Line is a good way to start conference play.

All of Nebraska problems stem from being incredibly soft on the line. You can get as many wr out of cali but if you don't have the tough Midwest lineman of yesteryear, Nebraska will continue to be average at best.

I might be totally wrong on this...and hope I am... but I just do not see it with POB. He's still young though.

Lee I think had a tough OLine and not helpful play calling, but one play to me stands out and showed me a lot regarding his decision making process.

It was in the second half...2nd down I think and 8 or 9. Spielman was to his right split out and the defender was at least ten yards off. No help underneath from any LB.
Spielman ran a hook right right at the marker and had at least a five yard cushion on his guy. Lee hit the left TE on a drag for a 2 or 3 yard gain...went to his checkdown right away and I have no idea why.
We shoulda had a first down, but it's obvious he had his mind made up before the snap. Disappointing.
