Good article. Shows how to schools are deciding to stay with coaches even though fans made noise to fire them. "The days of universities paying Jimbo Fisher (Texas A&M) $76 million to not coach, or Gus Malzahn (Auburn) $21.5 million or Willie Taggart (Florida State) $18 million, or Ed Orgeron (LSU) $16.8 million or Scott Frost (Nebraska) $15 million, isn’t sustainable." I'd say, "It ain't the Xs and Os, it's the Jimmies and Joes."---most of the time.

Solich had Crouch, Pelini had Suh, people like Larry Coker (BAD coach) had practically an NFL roster, and then there's Callahan who had great recruiting classes but was a bad coach and it was the massive book of Xs and Os.

I say send it to NIL. And Callahan wasn’t a bad coach, he was better than Riley, Frost and Rhule. He was ignorant about his defensive coach’s failure and let him keep ruining it all.
