Gotta say I was definitely wrong about Davie. I did not think he would make a team, but he did. Not only that, but according to Davie when he was talking to @Front Runner the Colts made sure he was a priority FA. I knocked his mentality for the game and said I did not think he had the ball skills to play at the next level. I was definitely in support of him, but was pretty adamant in my opinion of his future. Fortunately, I couldn't be more wrong. He may have yet to play a snap in a game or make a 53 man roster, but he is on his way. Good thing I coach the line and not DBs I guess
I was already contemplating making an "I was wrong" thread after I heard of his FA signing, but I especially felt the need to after listening to his interview. I had met him once or twice and had a few pleasant chats with him so I already had a bit of an idea of his character, but that was definitely reinforced after listening to the podcast. Good speaker who has a great handle on himself. Had nothing but good things to say about the coaching staff, saying that it was all on him the way his last year went. Really hope that he makes a go of it and follows his dreams. We are all pushing for you Davie! GBR!
