What are people's thoughts on Tim for AD. He is definitely familiar with the University. He has been he as an associate AD. Totally has a grasp of football while spending time at T A&M and Arizona State as an Associate AD.
TO is from a time gone by. He had his run as AD. Time for all us old folks to step aside. Tim sure understands recruitingHow does TO feel about him?
Wasn't Cassidy around during Tom and Frank's tenures? Good guy as I recall.TO is from a time gone by. He had his run as AD. Time for all us old folks to step aside. Tim sure understands recruiting
Cassidy came aboard with Callahan (2004) and left when he did (2007). Was at Texas A&M prior to Lincoln and returned after he left Lincoln. Took the ASU job around 2012.Wasn't Cassidy around during Tom and Frank's tenures? Good guy as I recall.
Isn't ASU going to be in some hot water after the bball scandal?
Arizona had the coach arrested not ASU
You are correct there, but there is more smoke too at ASU and that is what I am talking about. It'll be interesting how it plays out.
10-4. Well that settles that.Cassidy is only involved with the football program at ASU.
I like this thought. Football focused. What were the circumstances of his hiring and leaving?
He is an aTm grad and went to aTm to work in 2007. Remember though his kid stayed back and played here even after Tim left
Did his coming and going coincide with Callahan?
Compared to....?
I'd rather have Eric Hyman
Because I believe him, and he is responsible for Patterson at TCU and Spurrier at South Carolinawhy? He signed Sumlin to a 6 year $30 million guaranteed contract, then was fired, then threw everyone under the bus and said he had nothing to do with the deal.
Compared to going out and shopping for the very best that can be had..... I'd go get Tom Jurich....he needs a job....lolCompared to....?

I can agree with that, although I don't want CassidyI agree his version of the story has plausibility, but I think the truth falls somewhere in the middle. He is also nearly 70 years old, hated Texas A&M because the 12th man club and the boosters ran the show. Sound familiar? The do it the Nebraska way or else won't fly with him. From what I know of him he wants to run the show, and doesn't want any outside interference. Not a fit.
