I can’t see Purdue winning that series…1 win max and a good chance they get swept. Door is going to be open for the Huskers. I have my doubts they will take advantage….

Coming to bat in the 4th Iowa was down 13-2. Bottom of the 4th they plated 10 runs. After that they scored 4 runs, 3 runs, 6 runs, 5 runs and didn't come to bat in the 9th of course.
In that 4th inning their center fielder, Huckstorf, smashed two 3RBI homers. For the day he went 6 for 7, 3 singles, 3 home runs and 12 ribbies. His 5th inning homer was a grand salami.
Have a day, kid. One for the memory bank. Grand kids likely to get tired of hearing about that one.
There were 9 total home runs in that game (5-4 Iowa).
Both teams hit over .400 and Indiana hit .538 w/RISP. Game lasted over 4 1/2 hours.
Not a Sklarbodds type game. Did I mention the 5 total errors?
