I have always said the great programs like Florida State, Alabama, etc who win National Championships typically have the following:
1. Above Average Coach
2. Recruit Top 10 Classes on a CONSISTENT basis
3. Above Average QB's ( Thanks to Recruiting)
A. Riley is a Good Coach, but not an above average coach
This years recruiting class will tell the tell. Can an average to good coach with an average to good recruiting class win a national championship?
NO and HELL NO. Mack Brown was a GREAT RECRUITER but an Average Coach. Riley is just an average to good coach and will produce an average to good recruiting class
