Iowa ambassador welcoming recruits to the Crapids metropolitan area.
People here say Iowa fans have Nebraska in their heads constantly. True by skimming their message boards when we aren’t playing Iowa in a men’s sport that week or day. But Nebraska fans also have Iowa in their heads to much. Is that an inferiority or superiority complex?
A little of both. Plus an unhealthy familiarity with Iowans, many of us having lived among them for years.

I understand Nebraska fans living in Iowa country and the disdain for such shallow thinkers. It must be tough over the years taking their barbs but at least the Saturday after this past Thanksgiving got you some quiet time and you could smile a lot in public.
I left Iowa in late August. I can't stop smiling.

Which was more amusing, that the CB faked an injury to avoid getting burned all game or that the QB was told to take an injury by the coach so that he could put the backup in without making it look like he was making a QB change?
If Iowa were winning tithes it would be rough, but they aren’t. So many of my Western Iowa friends are still literally traumatized by Nebraska’s titles in the 90’s. It’s really sad.
Numerous posts on the Iowa message board indicating that Rouse probably isn’t a good fit for the Iowa culture anyway…..we’ll Duh, he’s an African American, of course they don’t think he’s a “good fit”…..
Unless he's cool with being singled out to run around with a trash can on his head, no, he's probably not a good fit there.

If by “pretty good” you mean constantly trotting out the same old Iowa talking points then yes. Additionally, his posts on the Iowa message board reveal his true colors.
What always makes me laugh, is what those Iowa dilwads hang their hats on, is that the best Iowa teams/era in their history, and the little successful run they've had against us, came against the worst Husker teams/era in our history, and the scores were by 1 score, or in OT, or because of a stupid penalty, or special teams brain fart.
I have a Iowa fan buddy, and I recently reminded him that some day, hopefully very soon,... Nebraska is going to be Nebraska again, and when they are, Iowa is still going to be just low life Iowa.
He is the best Iowa poster on here. The bar has been set low though by his brethren.
