Except we don't. Riley's transition class guys are Seniors or redshirt Juniors. His first full class guys are only Juniors or redshirt Sophmores.

Well crap. Someone needs to spell it out nice and clear for me.
Are we supposed to trash Riley or not? Dave seems to think that giving Riley any credit for anything at all is not getting on board. He said get on board or get out of the way.
I’m on board but I’m not gonna trash Riley... does that mean I’m not on board?

Riley gets full credit for taking us to the abyss- with 2 losing seasons in last 3, just 4 wins last year (easily could have been 1 or 2 wins) and making the program very very soft.
The deal is many of the Riley lovers seem to want to throw darts at a lot of the things Frost is doing- to impune Frost- to make Riley not seem as awful as he was
Pretty sure almost no “Riley lover” is throwing darts at frost. A few may be pointing out double standards, but point me in the direction of a single poster on this board who is actively skewering Frost. There’s nothing to skewer. There are those who may not be drinking the kool aid you are putting out there, but that doesn’t mean they are skewering frost.
In all honesty, I think if most of what you post was from someone else, it would be better received. Say, if Kav or RRT posted this stuff, people wouldn’t be hitting back. Sorry about that, but I really believe this might have something to do with it.
And to be fair, there are people who are seeing me post here and are likely rolling their eyes because they think I’m gonna defend Riley on something. Not trying to single you out... just a board phenomenon... certain people look at posters and already don’t give a chance to what we are posting, no matter how well thought out it might be.

In a perfect world, yep, that’s exactly what we do.
If everyone changes their screen name, no one would know who the other is, and for a period of 20 minutes or so, there would be peace.
After 20 minutes, people would start assigning names to the new posters and treating them like the old ones. I’m guilty of it too. Wish I could see past screen names, but I fall victim to that too much of the time.

There are a number poo pooing Frost- just like those who poo poo/ try to diminish Osborne or even Devaney. Im guessing many of them dont even bother going to the games or are real fans- just like to make hay on message boards. If they cant all get firmly behind the best and best accepted HIRE NU could have and did make- there just isnt much hope for them
Except we do. Bo’s recruiting classes were so terrible that Riley recruits should already have been playing across the board. This is because Riley was a recruiting witch!
What blows me away is:

Riley guys got firmly behind a 61 year old .500 guy who had never won anything, never ran the ball and was as soft as a my pillow filled with marshmallows. They cant support the young guy- legacy National Championship winner at NU- Frost and his resume as firmly as they did the fraud that ended up being Mike Riley? Firmly being MR cheerleaders, but not to the same degree for a much better qualified Nebraskan- Scott Frost?
Dont get it- to each his own as long as that opinion is based on real facts.
Name the poster(s) who aren't supporting Frost.
Im not going to get into a back and forth by naming all the people who stood aggressively in Rileys corner and have taken Pot Shots at Frosts successes. They are here, they have made posts- same for the guys who take shots at diminishing Osbornes and Devaneys accomplishments. They exist and they need to get on board with Frost as aggressively as they agressively and stubbornly supported smilin mike.
No one is against the hire of Scott Frost. No one. The reason you won’t name names, is because you can’t. Just because people aren’t trashing Riley as much as you want them to, doesn’t make them anti-Scott Frost. I think you’re barking up the wrong tree here.

I could name a couple of posters whom I suspect do not support the current staff. But not only is that against the rules, it’s also generally uncool to name names.
I’ll say this: there were many posters here saying Riley needed another year. I’m sure that much we can agree on. Why he needed just one more year after 25+ is beyond me. Dude never should’ve been hired.
That’s why he and the person who hired him were canned. It’s just a shame we sh** away three years figuring out how to do simple math.

That sounds right to me. Yes, Bo was a way, wayyyyyy better HC than the Beaver losing machine but not good enough to break through to greatness.
