.. And only 4 of those starting offensive tackles will had offers from Alabama out of High School or JUCO ball. They are as follows:
Isiah Prince - slated to Start at RT for Ohio State
Grant Newsome - stated to Start at LT for Michigan
Nick Gates - slated to start at LT for Nebraska
David Knevel- Slated to start at RT for Nebraska
Now, this little nugget about offers doesn't mean a whole lot. Offensive tackle is a rather complicated position. It probably sees more "busts" than any other position. Secondly, you're just as likely to see a guy like Beau Benezschwazel, LT from Wisconsin become an NFL draft pick as converted 6'6 250 lb HS tight end as you will see a 5.9 4-Star OT play on Sundays.
But.... if we all want to be as excited about recruiting for one reason or another, then we should be excited about high level prospects actually taking the field. Bottom line here is Nebraska will have 2 of the most coveted Offensive tackles in the Big Ten in 2016 and '17.
As for depth behind those 2? Uhmmm... that's probably another story in 2016.
