If you missed the chat yesterday, Nate said Bookie coming was not looking good and we got the official news last night that he was moving on. This is the beginning of the floodgates opening. Expect every recruit (outside of the Nebraska kids) to be recruited hard by our competition, so don't get your hopes up for keeping anyone.

The product on the field has not improved. The losses and the close wins have doomed HCMR and this staff. Nobody should have wanted him to fail here although a few clearly did but it's obvious that it's not working here. Great guy but sometimes it's not meant to be. The clock is ticking on the end of this era. If you want HCMR to get another year because of what little Pelini left or if you think three years isn't enough....sorry but it's looks to me like 99% HCMR is done. I am not even sure a complete run of wins, including over Penn State would change things.

So, where do we stand?

Root for the players. Even the ones that have been disappointing this year.
Stop with the social media posts that make the fanbase look atrocious.

Technically, we could lose a few more games, especially to Iowa again so we might have to suffer another 365 days of taunting by them but hopefully the day after the Iowa game, we will be on the road to greatness again.
