This was a really tough loss. Keep your head up Husker Nation and finish.

Teams often play lousy the game after Wisconsin, heck NW almost beat OSU after they played us.
Happens all the time, for years, it's often a good bet that the team who last played Wisconsin will NOT cover.

It was a heartbreaker and we all sensed trouble was coming in Columbus. It's just that none us imagined how bad it would get.

And it is over and in the past. The good teams can't dwell on past, they have to move forward and find a way to improve.

Beat Minnesota and we will feel a lot better about this team.

Lose to Minnesota, now that will hurt.

If the disappointing OT loss to Wisky caused 62-3 devastation, then the fans and team are weak. I don't buy it. If anything, the OT loss may have given affirmation to the team and fans that they were really an elite team leading to unjustified overconfidence -- plus a gut shot and a Tonya Harding to the knee last week.

Stanley Morgan could've caught that overtime pass in the end zone, and Drew Brown could've kicked the winning PAT. Nebraska could've waltzed into Columbus ranked in the top 5...... and Ohio State would've still kicked Nebraska's ass.

1. Columbus on a Saturday night is a different animal.
2. The interior of Nebraska's offensive line vs. that Ohio State front was an awful matchup. They were held together with Bailing wire. Ohio State exploited those matchups even more than Wisconsin.
3. Tommy getting hurt had nothing to do with the Pysche of the Wisconsin game.
4. By the time Nebraska's defense could adjust to the looks presented by Ohio State, Tommy was already out of the game. The offense couldn't sustain a drive, and the defense was gassed before half time, trailing by 4 touchdowns.

Mentally gassed because they couldn't get a stop? We had the ball longer than Ohio St did in the first half...

So if we don't move forward and don't improve tomorrow, are we not a good team?

So improving is not a good thing? You have to assume the teams you are playing get better. So if we don't show improvement and they do who do you think wins?

I'm not sure how you took my post, but it was a question to you.
