The table finally turns next year

towards more of a Frost recruited roster. Let's keep it real, the seniors didn't become winners while they played here and not many of them panned out. Out of that group, it's likely that only 1 player makes it to the NFL as a drafted player - Lamar Jackson. Daniels will likely get a shot at the NFL but I don't know if he will get drafted or not but he was a grad transfer.

The talent starts to improve when you get to the juniors (next year seniors) and then go to the younger classes. For junior starters that should be returning

WR: Spielman

RB: Mills

LT: James
RG: Wilson
RT: Farniok

TE: Stoll

We should have about 6 or 7 starters on O next year that were recruited by Frost.

On D for returning juniors (next year seniors):

ILB: Miller
OLB: JOJO
S: Dismuke
CB: Bootle

What I think happens on O next year is the following:

WR: New recruit
WR: Wandale Robinson
WR: Spielman

LT: James
LG: Piper
C: Jurgens
RG: Farniok
RT: Benhart

TE: Stoll

QB: Martinez

RB: Mills/Rahmir

On D I think the following happens:

NG: Ty Robinson
DE: JUCO recruit if we land one
DE: Stille

NB: JoJo
ILB: Miller
ILB: JUCO if we land one or one of our redshirting freshman
OLB: Nelson

CB: Clark
CB: Bootle
S: Cam
S: Dismuke

I bet about 7 starters on D will have been recruited by Frost.

Next year is when you will be able to see how the development is taking place for Frost recruits. That is what will tell us the future better than anything else when you look at things at the end of the 2020 season.

The 2020 season is the first season under Frost that I am actually looking forward to. I have been waiting out these Riley classes and waiting for the young to grow and mature.

As long as Spielman is back, we don't lose anyone on O that makes any difference. We just need the size and deep threat and improved RB depth.

On D we graduate our leading tackler but he isn't an all-conference player so that is replaceable.

Does Honas graduate? He made a couple of nice plays today. Couldn’t see if he blundered on the long runs because I was watching on my phone

Your chart looks accurate, but doesn't take into account all of those listed are happy here with the results and won't transfer.
Recall Wondale Robinsons dad tweeted two weeks ago he may not be back next year due to no bowling and that he deserves better

Lmao already with the next year is the year bs.

Gonna have some entertaining threads in the off-season about how we'll actually be better at WR without Spielman.

You should actually read what was written. It's about how the roster starts to turn. Nowhere is there a word written about a record, wins, losses, etc. Besides, I don't don't guess on records since each season is it's own season. After following this sport for more than 35 years I know how stupid it is to look at a schedule and predict wins and losses. NW was never expected to be trash this year but they were. MN was not expected to be playing for a trip to Indy tomorrow but they are.

Wandale isn't going anywhere. But I do get a sense that many on the team are fed up with Adrian, especially JD.

Luke and Wandale need to be the future of the program - those 2 are competitors and leaders. Adrian is not.

Then why'd you title the thread using table instead of roster? It's obvious what you were getting at. You're going to be awfully disappointed if you think a roster of mostly Frost guys is going to perform any better than the current roster. Coaching is the weak link in our program.

Anyone remember a certain Husker fan from Wisconsin that has been shown the door many, many times?

I'm most interested in the excuse making for next year. Blaming the other guy and his players has run out now. My guess is that it will be "we are too young" or "the toxic rubbed off on the younger guys"..

“Just wait “til next year guys.” Ha... ha... Ever cross your mind that Frost is not going to elevate Nebraska beyond what’s it’s been for the last 20 years.... average. I’d be concerned if Boy Wonder can even get you to 8 wins...You’ll be screaming for Bo P to come back..

I am convinced that uberism1111 is one of the following in relation to Frost:
1) Mom
2) Dad
3) Sibling
4) Wife
5) 1st Cousin
6) 2nd Cousin
7) Other extended family, whom Frost may or may not actually know
8) Secret Lover- Straight Variety
9) Secret Lover- Gay Variety
10) ?

1) So....you're saying that Nebraska will lose several players, and those guys will be replaced by new players? Wow....brilliant. We all know how unique that isn't to a college football team.

2) Just out of curiosity....what is your proof that Frost's guys will be better than Riley's guys, or Pelini's guys?

Not questioning it, but why would someone from Wisconsin continually post comments defending Frost? Doesn’t make sense.

He's nufaninwisconsin or whatever his handle was. Total nutjob. But he tells the Cletii what they want to hear so he'll get an asston of likes from dudes like headcard

We just lost our 3 best players on defense yesterday: the entire starting defensive line. I'd imagine Daniels and K. Davis get drafted. Lamar Jackson actually did show improvement over the last month of the season. He made some big tackles in the open field. Took him 4 years, but it finally happened. Wish him the best of luck and hopefully he can make something happen in the NFL. Really a shame he didn't redshirt that first year.

If our young DL doesn't make huge strides in the next 10 months, we are in big trouble defensively...again.

I think we're going to be OK at DL. The soph from Oklahoma has some nice potential, Jakheem Green could be a stud, and we've got lil Daniels. I really hope that they don't play Ty at NG - he needs to be a DE.

Frost stated he expects our defensive line to take a step back next year.

That to me says it’s going to be a long ass year again on that side of the ball. We can only hope that Frost gets the offense going.

Mods can dox? What do people get banned for?

Bring back porn guy! The hero none of us knew we needed

Who cares about this thread. Everyone’s a loser until proven otherwise.

Your stuff gets old. More action less talk. Frost won’t have excuses anymore about cancers on the team. He needs to just prove he can win.

I have stated this b4. Following coaches and other university based Twitter, awesome. Following the players ok , I can see it. Following recruits little odd. Digging threw players family twitter. Your borderline nut job. Not trying to be an a** but I just dont understand.

As long as AM is our QB we will be fighting for bowl eligibility and nothing more!

I 100% agree unless he finds something to get his speed back. He lost a ton of quickness with his injury that he most likely wont get back. A good QB coach may be able to teach him to be a pocket passer but that will obviously be for a different team.

another year will be good for players to understand frosts system.
coordinator turn over every 2 years for the last decade can't be a good thing

The schedule is favorable to win seven games next season. Then the wheels come off in 2021. If they win more than five games that season, Frost should be named Coach of the Year. Seven wins are possible again in 2022. The "wait 'till next year" crowd will claim parity or some other bullshit makes seven wins the new nine. "A lot of teams would be thrilled to win seven games," they will say.

Actually saw a Superfan on Facebook blame 2019 on Perlman. Can someone please put an expiration date on that one?
