Now they say the 2nd amendment is white supremacy.
Basically, just equate what you don't like to white supremacy.
I've never heard anyone refer to the 2nd ammendment as white supremacy. You have a link? I do hear a constant spew of bullshit about the 2nd ammendment basically all of the time though. Have you seen the feminists with signs saying "your guns have more rights than women"? There are some grade A simpletons out there.

Does the Vadger golf team only play from the reds? Surely they're too woke to play from the whites.

Probably makes me want to leave this stupid f@cking conference even more so than them pussing out on the game. They are right we are a bad cultural fit. And I don't want to fit in with them. A$$holes that rewrite history with their idea that they would have all been perfect woke citizens 100+ years ago. Never thought these D-bags would make me prefer Tejas.

The people of Nebraska are not completely dissimilar than the people in other big10 states, but the conference schools couldn't be further from us in values. Yeah, we are probably more like Texas in that regard.

Abraham Lincoln, sitting in a chair, is racist? Are my white socks racist? Good lord almighty.
They arent saying Abraham Lincoln was racist. or at least that is how I read this.
Jacobson argued that the Lincoln statue should be removed because it was donated by newspaper owner Richard Lloyd Jones, who was controversial for his stances on a number of issues.

Its because the statue was DONATED by a guy with controversial stances. Equally as stupid. Didnt Lincoln abolish slavery, or something like that? That seems kinda ANTIracist if you ask me. If nothing else, remove any mention of who donated the statue (if there is a plaque or something), BUT NOT THE ACTUAL ****ING STATUE.

Agree that the whole issue is pretty effing stupid. Trying to tie it into the game being cancelled this Saturday? Also pretty effing stupid.

Lincoln, while being a key figure in the abolition of slavery, spent much of his time believing and working towards sending blacks out of the US, believing it to be impossible for a peaceful coexistence of the two races.

Four days before his death, speaking to Gen. Benjamin Butler, Lincoln still pressed on with deportation as the only peaceable solution to America’s race problem. “I can hardly believe that the South and North can live in peace, unless we can get rid of the negroes … I believe that it would be better to export them all to some fertile country…”

Compare that to things Biden has said in the past.....

It creates a very slippery slope. If we start canceling things because of their connection to dudes who were racist from years ago, then we will likely need to tear down every structure built prior to 1970.

They might be too offended?

Wackos. How close are we to changing the name of our great Capitol to "Wokeville"

Ya gotta stand up to these soft totalitarians. You think I'm nuts, but look around. Our freedoms are eroding. Gotta bible in your possession? It's easily classified as hate speech. It's happening in Europe right now. Are you watching the developments in Paris?

exactly what they want. My Eastern European in law says that's exactly what they did there when the socialists took over. Eradicate history. Tear down beautiful buildings and replace them with "government apartments". Look around every town in the midwest at all of the FHA apartment buildings being buit. All of them have income limits and most of the residents are on government assistance.

There is some truth to that.
Yes, some truth. It hastened the costly and deadly war which was good because the North was growing weary of war. So was the South , but they had no choice to continue on .

I'm not sure what the north made of the situation. You've got tens of thousands of men, formerly slaves, who are not properly trained as soldiers. Give them guns and that's a risky proposition I think. However, the former slaves relished the opportunity to get in the fight and take it to their oppressors. They fought valiantly, and when they were captured, they met a horrific end to their lives through torture and other cruel methods of execution.

The North had a problem where by former slaves, men, women, children, and elderly followed their camp from battle to battle as they were freed. They saw safety in the shadow of the North's Army. However, they were also a burden to the Army, because they slowed it down and they themselves needed resources to live which hindered those available to the Army. Lincoln emancipating the slaves was a brilliant move. The war had slavery as its main theme, but trumping at I think was Lincolns desire to to keep the union together. It wasn't apparent immediately, but Lincoln and the north realized that the issue of slavery had to be dealt with decisively. No more compromises on it. All or nothing.

It goes against the romanticism of Lincoln, but had he not been assassinated I think its fairly likely that either he would have more than facilitated the return of black people to Africa or given them a chunk of land in Central America where they would be required to relocate to. He didn't believe integration was a possibility and really did want an all-white america.
