With all the talk of players organizing, this is their opportunity to make their voices heard. Since Warren will not listen to the players, or the parents, or do what is in their best interest, all it would take is a good chunk of players from each team getting together and signing a petition saying they will only play if the season begins in the fall. If the virus is really that bad, then they will be sitting out the winter as well. It's kind of risky, but with enough players on board, it could change the course of the season or at the least show that the players are not going to put up with Warren and the university presidents that are doing these players wrong.
The players have a lot of leverage here...

That would be playing right into their hands. These people have no intention of allowing a winter or spring season.
You want to get their attention? Every BIG player unenrolls from school or enters the transfer portal (if it's open?).
You could be right. It seems like they need to do something to stand up for themselves since everyone else is failing them.
I can't understand why Warren and these presidents want to dig their own graves. Based on all the evidence, it seems like the right thing to do for these kids is clear: cautiously roll out fall football and if things go south with the virus, do the Jenga 41 plan, if that doesn't work, then postpone.
