The Opening

Sounds like Bookie was far and away the best performer at the opening yesterday. I saw on a competiting site so I won't link the tweet.

Sounds like he won every rep and had the play of the camp when he picked a ball off of a 6'6 WR. He was labeled as 'honey badger-esq.'
Kids a stud. Born leader to boot. Will be the epitome of a Blackshirt. Mike Brown type leader in the secondary.

I watched the videos and he did not win every rep. Considering how easy it is for the receivers at that thing, he did pretty well. He got beat by a TE and Amon St. Brown a couple times. Amon St. Brown is a beast and the #1 WR in the country, and it's a shame Coach Dub couldn't get in on him. One thing that worries me about Bookie is his top-end speed. I really do think his future is at safety where he can make plays all over the field.

Also should throw in that Houston Griffith looked pretty dang good. I really hope we can close on him.

DB Bookie Radley-Hiles

Few players showed out more than Radley-Hiles. The Nebraska commit was simply outstanding during 7-on-7, sometimes even calling out opposing routes before the snap, and showed the competitive streak, nose for the football and aggressiveness that makes him one of the elite players in this year’s class. How did Nebraska get his commitment? Radley-Hiles said he and Mike Riley talk every morning. He was also a favorite of what seemed like every recruit in attendance.https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...ospects-stood-out-most-the-opening/448790001/

When you look at the players mentioned in the article, it's amazing how many we are recruiting. Man it is fun to see Nebraska back in the mix with top rated talent.

Nice to read one of those articles and not see every other blue blood named but us, isn't it? Spent a lot of years wondering why NU couldn't be on those lists.
