I know it is easy copy and all, but I've really gotten tired of the daily injury report. Can't recall another season where so much time was spent on the site reciting who is and isn't injured. Maybe it's because we don't have much in the way of great performances to talk about this year, I don't know. But it seems like the daily reports are always about half injury lists.

Definitely has been one of those years where injuries have seemed to mount. I don't know if we are as bad as other teams or not, but it sure seems like it. Is it a freak season or does it have to do with the way they practice or workout. Makes me wonder if they will take a look at the practices and weight program and maybe make some changes.

I've never seen anything like the number of injuries we've had to deal with on defense especially at linebacker.

It's all across football right now. I believe that because of the new practice rules and not being able to tackle as much has caused the players to be more fragile..

It can't really get worse than it was last week, right?

Injuries are less of a deal when there is more depth.

What new practice rules?

Run first league? Where is there evidence of that? So you are saying there are fewer injuries in the Big 12 because they are a passing league?

Seems we are searching for some cause and affect here.

Feel it's part of football at every level. Players are bigger stronger faster and hurt each other more.

Bo coached at LSU before coming back to Nebraska. Maybe he picked up on how to use Voodoo!

I'm with Jason Peter on some of these. Some aren't really injuries.
