While I agree Nike does some cool stuff and I wouldn't be opposed to moving to Nike from Adidas, I think many Nebraska fans lose sight of what the downside of switching to Nike would mean. Coming up on football season I start loading up on all my school's gear. Nebraska gear like always is reasonably priced, my USC gear which is Nike is extremely more expensive. Nike is going to want to own the exclusive rights to the brand so, mom and pop places will not be able to produce lower priced product. The distribution of the product will also be limited so it is not going to be easy to find. All those husker shops will start going out of business, no more buying your gear at walmart or target. I find it hard to believe that Husker fans would be happy paying $20-$30 for a t-shirt when they can easily find husker t-shirts now for sub $20.
