The College Football National Championship Game should be on Saturday night

Saturdays rock because of college football. Mondays suck for a wide variety of reasons. Worst decision ever to have this game on a Monday. Should not be played on a Sunday either. Maintain the Saturday traditions.
I'm just happy it starts at 6:30. Saturday would be better but they maximize the profit.
depends what the money grab for big matchups folks think..cause there's 0.0 plan after that for college football

Spot on. Heard Joel Klatt go off a few days back about it needing to be on Saturday (or New Years Day). He actually thinks college football should cut the NFL in to increase profits for both parties by working in tandem to maximize that Saturday night game. He made some really good points.
Yeah, they will now have it going all the way to Monday, January 20 in 2025. I guess that's good because it extends the season. Still feels like it should be on a Saturday, so Saturday, January 18 in 2025.

Only GOOD matchups should be on Saturday night. Last night's matchup was fine being on a Monday.*

It should also be on ABC/NBC/CBS/Fox in my opinion. You shouldn't need cable or a subscription service to watch a national championship.

The people that watch would watch on Saturday in both cases. I would argue more people would watch because you would get watch parties and things that don't happen on a Monday night. Like the Super Bowl.
