Not a lot of time to write (school started) but have thought about the effects of blowouts. I'm pondering this: What if/when Nebraska returns to being the team blowing out big game opponents instead of being blown out?

What would be the significance of Nebraska blowing out Miami? What is Nebraska destroys Wisconsin 56-14 in October? What if we went 10-2 with close losses to Michigan State and one other team (maybe an upset from pesky Northwestern, who knows) but blows out Minnesota and Wisconsin? What would it mean for Nebraska to blow out any ranked opponent (defeat by 30 points or more)?

If nothing else, it's fun to fantasize about it. But beyond that, I'm wondering how much impact it would have in recruiting for this upcoming class (2016) and future classes and if it would catapult the Huskers back into the national discussion.

Thoughts?
