People that are Husker fans will be the only ones that truly understand and appreciate what im about to share.
This weekend I was privileged enough to attend the game with my Dad, and to say we has a blast is a total understatement. Last year one of my customers gave me Michigan State tickets and after we won she told me that if I wanted more tickets to other games just say yes and they would be made available for me. As an avid husker fan I took her up on the offer and got tickets to the game this past weekend.
Even though im not from Nebraska I bleed Cornhusker red. My Dad is from the Cozad Central City area and thats the connection to the Huskers for me. As a kid going to Nebraska games was always a rare opportunity because money was always tight and was never really feasible due to our location. So when I got the tickets for this weekends game, I called Dad to see if he wanted to go to which he said absolutely. It was an opportunity for me to tell my Dad that this weekend is on me and im taking care of everything. Tickets, hotel, food, new Husker gear, im taking care of EVERYTHING!
Well needless to say the weekend was a total success. We got a win, bought some new Husker gear, and made a lasting memory just my Dad and I. So thank you Husker nation for making this possible. Thank you to all the die hard fans that make this football team so attractive, and thank you to 90k of my best friends in the stadium on Saturday.
