Texas high school football kicks off this weekend.

Temps will be an unbearable 98 at kickoff this Friday evening when I visit Freedom Field in Iowa Colony, Texas to watch Manvel take on Braylon Prude and the Shadow Creek Sharks.

Looking forward to watching the game, my seats face the east and the press box will provide the necessary cover from the big orange ball in the sky.

Yeah that is odd. I suppose it could be a bit cooler but basically anything after 1pm is going to be shitty like it would if they started at 7.
