You're playing a bunch of freshmen! If this is such a big talent gap then explain Indiana, Penn St, Wisconsin etc. Who all played OSU tough! We didn't come to play AGAIN! Scared little boys out there tonight!

Ok thanks. You're playing a butch of freshman! If this is such a big talent gap then explain Indiana, Penn St, Wisconsin etc. Who all played OSU tough! We didn't come to play AGAIN! Scared little boys out there tonight!
You don't think there is a major talent differential tonight?
My guess is this will probably be the only time we see the OP in this thread. Thinks he posted something clever, chugged a beer and passes out.I think there's a major alcohol differential tonight for the OP.
we need a qb that can pass, thats pretty important if your running a passing offense. if you don't have that your offense spins it wheels, and your d-fense gets tired. You're playing a butch of freshman! Maybe you should claim you are drunk. It would give you an excuse for your stupid post.Haven't had a drop, just a realist!
I don't think you know what that word means.Haven't had a drop, just a realist!
Come on. One game does not tell the story of this team.Well, OP may have overstated it, but if PSU can defeat OSU, then do you want to say that the same talent gap exists between PSU and us? Clearly not. I guess we can assume that OSU didn't use its talent well against PSU, but still, unlike PSU, which surely doesn't have any more talent that we do, we are down by 52 after 3 quarters. This isn't just a talent gap.

Apparently, it does.Come on. One game does not tell the story of this team.
Of the entire season.Bad special teams. Check
Bad QB play. Check
Bad line play. Check
Getting ran all over. Check
Missed tackles. Check
Dropped balls. Check
Questionable playcalls. Check
Unfortunate costly injuries. Check
Yeah I think this game has told our story so far.
OK, let's fire him after the game. Is that what you want? I'm sure that would do wonders for the program.Didn't we hire Riley because he could he could do more with less talent?

Really, that's how you treat your team? You laugh at your team that way?OP catching a lot of heat here, and I get that, but I have ZERO argument with the scared little boys thing, it was laughable to watch them get their a** handed to them every play, talent gap was obvious, man gap even bigger, they wanted NOTHING to do with big boy football!
I guess I worded it wrong, the "effort" was laughable, if you were watching the same game as I was, it was either laugh or cry, I mean let's take tackling(or pushing) for example. WTH was that? I was at one point looking for a running clock but then remembered this isn't youth football and there IS NO MERCY RULE. Hoping for a better effort next week, by the very fact we have only Big 10 West foes left, the effort should improve, or it may be that fickle talent gap should close a bit.Really, that's how you treat your team? You laugh at your team that way?

What? After a season in which they kept us in games all the time, your advice is to pull the blackshirts?I too thought the defense mentally gave up before halftime. That was the biggest disappointment to me. We have big problems on the offensive line, but defensively, this was absolute garbage.
Guys were out of position, sloppy tackling, getting beat by receivers, it was all there in spades. It didn't appear to change either. Did we make any adjustments? Did we stop them even once?
I don't know what happened with that, but that was one of the worst defensive performances ever. I don't think it was a talent gap thing either. I think the energy was not there, it was like the defense didn't want to win, didn't want to fight.
That lack of intensity is unacceptable. Take away the blackshirts.
