After the Husker game, I didn't pay much attention to football the rest of the day.

This morning I am seeing some scores/losses that I didn't expect:

Vandy beat KSU 14-7
Texas in OT with USC
Stanford losing to SDSU 20-17
MSST throttling LSU 37-7
Memphis beating UCLA 48-45

I enjoy watching college football games and the Fuskers ruined it for me yesterday. Looks like a lot of other fans had their teams ruin their day too. Just really surpised at some of these games.

I think the Stanford loss surprises me the most. Any (non-Husker) games surprise you yesterday?

Don't forget Purdue over Missouri 35-3... I know Missouri isn't the same, but it shows that Purdue isn't either...

I missed a lot of scores too. I made the 2.5 hour drive over the mountains to go to a wedding in the Seattle area after the Husker game. We listened to my wife's school Purdue beat Missouri. (They are going to be tough for the Huskers). Once we we're there I lost track of college football. On the way home we listened to the last half of the Texas- USC game. I was surprised how tough Texas played the Trojans. They could have won that game. I think Darnold is the best Qb in college football. Reading this tread I just found out K-State lost to Vandy. Other than the Huskers losing to a MAC school that surprises me the most. Snyder's conservative play calling must have cost the Wildcats the game. Stanford losing to SDSU is just another indication to me that their coach David Shaw doesn't derserve the press's anoitment of a great coach. I think he is a good coach, but I've heard him lumped in with the group of best coaches in college football by many talking heads. Stanford always seems to lose a game they shouldn't so therefore I would not include him with the best. UCLA's great comeback against A&M covered up a lot of flaws. I think Mora is in trouble.

I saw a lot of people saying to take Vanderbilt +4.5. It seems Vandy's defense is legit. That might have been the first TD given up on the season.

Memphis were only 3.5 point dogs so Vegas knew something was up there.

What is the last thing LSU has done to warrant being ranked so high every year? I always seem to see them losing with a low number next to their name.

I didn't see that score... daaaaamn!

They sure went downhill since going to the SEC.

Makes me wonder if Maryland is actually that good since maybe Texas isn't too bad afterall (even with USC overrated).
