Leadoff walk for Meyers. Altavilla's SAC bunt moves Meyers to 2nd. Schreiber grounds out to SS but Meyers heads to 3rd on the play. Miller hits a slow roller to 2nd and is safe at 1st on the E4 throwing error, Meyers scores on the play. Roskam hits a liner into RF, Miller moves to 2nd. Alvarado flies out to LF

Schlepp with a double to RF puts runners on 2nd and 3rd! Meyers with a 2 RBI single up the middle!!! Altavilla with the hit-n-run single through the right side to put runners on the corners! Schreiber Ks. Miller grounds into a 4-6-3 inning ending DP

Just in case anyone is curious Illinois leads Maryland 4-0 top 6th right now.

Need to worry about finishing today first, but what I worry about next is focus for Tuesday's game at Creighton knowing the task ahead of us to win the conference regular season title but playing a midweek non-conference game. Obviously, I'd love to win them all, but any breathing room Illinois (and Northwestern) can provide us is welcome.

One thing Erstad has done well with this team this year is keeping them pretty level headed from game to game for the most part.
Don't need no stinkin' breathing room when you just win out.

Chad Luensmann now in to relieve Meyers. Back to back Groundouts to 2nd end the damage.

The loss last week at Ohio State was on @coolonetoo (I think) for mentioning potentially hosting a regional after the Minnesota series.
