I don’t think the importance of this game can be understated.
Win and it’s taking a series against a top five opponent and a serious momentum builder toward salvaging the season. With five upcoming games ripe for continuing that momentum.
Lose and it will mean reaching April without a single winning weekend and more doubt.

I agree with this to an extent but also feel we have to have more luck to win a series against a team like this. We need another Matt Walsh type of outing along with hits finding more holes than usual. Talent vs. Talent we obviously lose.
I've always thought it was a shame Matt Walsh hasn't gotten more starring roles, but loved him in Old School.

This has to be the turnaround for the season right? I sure hope so.

It sure would be a good start. These were the bats we’ve been wanting to see.
