Leadoff walk from McCarville to start the game. He then pegs the next guy to put them on 1st and 2nd. An RBI double gives CC the early 1-0 lead and puts runners on 2nd and 3rd. A G6 groundout scores another runner. An RBI single makes it a 3-0 game. A 4-3 tag ‘em out throw ‘em out DP ends the top half.
Leadoff walk for Anderson to start the bottom half of the 1st. Jackson safe on an FC G4, Anderson out at 2nd. Everitt K’s as Jackson steals 2nd. Anglim gets on with a HBP. Matthews Flies out to RF.

Leadoff double for CC followed by a SAC bunt to move the runner to 3rd. An RBI seeing eye single with the infield playing in makes it a 4-0 lead for CC. The next batter pops up to 3rd. K ends the top half.

Leadoff single to LF to start off the inning. A single through the left side puts runners on 1st and 2nd. An RBI single to RF puts runners in the corners. Finally they take McCarville out of the game and put in Jackson Brockett. He gives up an RBI single to LF. Both runners advance to 2nd and 3rd on an error by LF. A WP scores another because why not. Next batter K’s for the 1st out. An RBI double to RF scores another. The next batter K’s. Another RBI single makes it a 9-0 game. A WP advances the runner to 2nd. A G5 ends the inning.

Hang in there Robster. That was a tough half inning and I’m sure it was far worse for you to watch than for me to read. Appreciate all the updates throughout the season.
I have my 4 year old and trying to entertain him as well. Figured at this point we all got the point of this game. Haha
It’s now 13-0 after 5.
Just in case anyone is curious I fully support beer at baseball games. Being down 17-0 with a beer in my hand would at least help numb this pain.
Thank goodness we had the rally on Friday to avoid getting swept at home. 🤬
19-0 now. I don’t think anyone is even trying, including the coaches. I know baseball can be fickle but we just look like we don’t care right now. Really missing that veteran leadership.
Hate to say it, but we are far enough into the season now where we gotta admit this year’s team just isn’t very good. ☹️
I think what is most frustrating is we all know we have a young team talent wise, but we also know we should have enough experience to not be losing to a quad 4 team 19-0 right now at home. It’s embarrassing and I’m sure Bolt will agree in the postgame. The walk offs appear to be more so luck than turning a corner.
Keep messing with the weekend rotation, after 2 separate people have won the job then play musical chairs with the line-up for no reason whatsoever and this is what ends up happening.
But hey, as long as Rob Childress is happy, all is good.
I said the same thing to my wife. It was horrific in every phase of the game which was very disappointing.
Jaw droppingly bad. A real life version of the first 20 minutes of Major League but, unlike Lou Brown, I have no idea how to come back from that.
I can only hope that Bolt and crew do know how.
