It's happened to multiple guys the first two weekends. Kyle Perry last week was good against Baylor, came in when it was 5-1 or something against Oklahoma and immediately gave up 3 straight hits including a 2-run bomb to let them back in it. Casey Daiss was great against Baylor, blew the save against OU. Etc.

We have collapsed on the mound and lost our aggression in the box. Crazy 8-8 tie but we need to get some momentum back.

Big top of the 8th to get a run on a passed ball and a steal of home, only to turn right back around and put the tying run on base with hit batters. The good news, 2 outs. One good pitch and the threat is eliminated.

Agree 100%. It is better to win those up and down games early and build on it. Last year I think we took a lot of room for error away with some early season and midweek loses. I do feel Bolt’s teams do get better as they go along as well most seasons so hoping for more of the same.
