Stories of injustice: please share yours

Alright. I was sexually assaulted by a Chinese massage therapist. Seriously. Beyond the WTF it wasn't funny to me and I reported it to the police (I believe they were raided and are certainly closed down). The place looked respectable from the outside, was in a decent area, and for the first ~40 minutes everything seemed normal. Then a second girl came into the room unannounced, the first girl left, and she immediately did something without even asking (more than just happy ending). I was shocked and she started asking me prices for "more of the same". I started freaking out and paid to exit immediately (with a tip because I wanted to GTFO) and to this day it bugs me. Haven't been able to talk about it except via the reporting to police.

Oh my goodness. That is wild. Thanks for sharing Mr. Kraft 🤣

I've been a victim of identity theft, twice. Once from a stranger, once from a former spouse.

Had my car burglarized 3 times

Was assaulted (by a male) once at a party

Victim of property theft twice and property vandalism 4 times.

Have had multiple jobs affected by false accusations.

Had the IRS make a false accusation that I had to fight.

The government once garnered my pay because their computers confused me with someone else. It was a giant, expensive ordeal to get it corrected.

Have had the police issue me tickets in error 3 times.

In college had my grades affected by politics.

Had a car and motorcycle (separate accidents) totaled from drivers without a license.

I've seen friends and family have their lives turned upside down because of politics or inaccurate reporting in the workplace and their private lives.

Only once in all these issues did the police prove helpful.

Do I hate the police? No. Do I want sympathy? No. In fact this thread is to remind people we all have challenges, and we have to overcome them without resorting to violence.

No disrespect. Sorry for all unfortunate incidents.
But I think this is funny.

Thanx. Big fan of Austin. Also a big fan of the replies. If America was really Nazi Germany like the extremists say, the replies would be filled with tales of woe. But that didn't happen. Because life in the USA is pretty damn good. Now I didn't mention all the good things that happened in my life. Because that could affect the results. But America has been good to 90% of the citizens. The 10% which can't manage their life have sadly convinced an outsized percentage that the country is a fundamentally unjust place. This threads reminds us that ain't true.

You didn't get the memo? If not, let me enlighten you. There's no such thing as "just sports" any more. The d-bags who live their lives thinking about politics 24/7 (both sides) have dedicated their existence to making the rest of us miserable. And now this site has discovered they get more traffic from Trumpers than football fans, so they opened the floodgates. Get with the program.

I feel like calling into Sean Callahan's radio programs and talking about the election. No sports, just the election. I am also thinking about going on his Twitter feed and posting about Trump on every single Tweet. It's gotta be good for business so I'm just wanting to help him out.

I once got a speeding ticket for going 74 in a 65 mph zone. Damned cops. I'm sure I was only going 69. IF justice had truly been served he would have nailed me when I inadvertently let the speedo slip up above 80 earlier in the evening. Dang tail wind and a big comfortable quiet SUV.

Interestingly I too had my college grade in a poli sci class influenced by politics. John Gruel the socialist prof at UNL back in the 70s didn't like honest discussion I guess.

37 years ago and prior I was followed by police from every angle. everywhere I went they were watching me or following me, sometimes real close. even the air!
then I went to alcoholics anonymous and stopped drinking and other stuff.
the following and semi-harrasment stopped just like a lite switch. I would have to almost hit their car with a rock to get them to look at me. hmmm,
wonder what happened???
disclaimer -did have one speed ticket, one warning for speeding and one warning to turn my lites on during those 37 years
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean that people aren't out to get you.....

When I was in high school I was driving (coming back from a football game Friday night) and made a goofy turn into a neighborhood without signaling. There was a cop coming the other way and I saw him start a U-turn and I knew he was going to come pull me over.

So, like any intelligent high schooler, I sped way up and started turning at each intersection in the hopes that I would lose him.

Come to find out, the cop car was way faster than my Neon, the cop had done this a lot more than I had, and, surprisingly, was a lot better driver.

Once he caught me, and I pulled over, he waited until cop#2 arrived. At that point, he approached our car, was very pissed, and had me and my buddy get out of the car and put our hands on it. They then went through the car. There wasn't anything of interest in there.

We complied with what he wanted and neither of us tried to run away, get his gun, punch him, or call him a MF'er.

I ended up with a nasty lecture and a pretty big ticket.

Good news? Nobody got shot, tased, or otherwise harmed. Maybe I'm just lucky.

Until my folks found out.

The dumbest thing I did was throw a bottle of beer over the top of the hometown cop car one summer night (The town cops were for the most part pretty harmless. Think Barney Fife). My buddy, the driver, was getting married just 4 days later. We were talking to a friend in a car in the middle of the road on a side street just off Main Street. The cop came up and flashed his lights to get us to move on. My buddy dared me to throw the bottle and I called his bluff. My friend had a 69 Ford Torino with a big boy engine and a three speed manual transmission on the column so he gunned his car and off we raced to nearby Kansas. About a mile into Kansas the city cop must have started thinking about all the paperwork there would be for arresting someone in Kansas so he ended the pursuit. Friends came and warned us that the cops were looking for us. We spent the night at my friend's cabin. The next morning we both went to work. Nothing ever happened to us. The cop was mad for awhile. The city attorney who besides being both our families' lawyer also went to high school with my friend's dad. He refused to press charges. We were so lucky. Love small towns. (I am still really good friends with the driver. We skied Vail together just before it was shut down last March and yes he is still married to the girl he married 45 years ago).

I've never really been in any trouble. Never have seen the inside of a jail. My friend in the previous story can't even say that. (Lincoln is not as forgiving). All through the late seventies through the nineties I use to park under the old Viaduct along the Seattle waterfront and walk to the nearby bars in Pioneer Square late at night. Nothing ever happened. My friends who still live on that side of the mountains say there is no way I could do that now. I would be robbed, shot or stabbed.

I had someone take a percentage of my check my whole life, who said the money would be there when I turned 65.
then all the sudden they said it probably won't be there, they spent it all on other things....

but at least it's not like china where they can just throw me in jail for having a opinion...

I guess it's bout the lesser evil in this world

I once spent an hour watching a presidential "debate" where neither candidate even had the spine to denounce domestic terrorists.

One told them to "stand by" (WTF does that mean) while the other pretended they weren't real, just "an idea". Yeah, OK.

It was an injustice and I want my hour back.

I knew that was going to be an uncomfortable shit show and couldn't even bring myself to watch a single minute of it. Spent the evening on a kick ass mountain bike ride at Platter River state park and tuning my bike afterwards and with my girlfriend and a bottle of wine. From all accounts, looks like I made the right decision.

My wife threw a cheeseburger at me.
I retaliated by throwing my chicken sandwich at her (self defence) the neighbors called the cops and they ticketed and hauled me off.

I should have just remembered to tell them no pickles and it would have been a great day. Lol

Child custody. Nuff said and there are way too many cases of this injustice

You sound miserable bro. I am on the back side of forty and literally none of those things have ever happened to me in my life. Maybe Nebraska is the good life? How does one get three tickets written in error btw?

I am a little older than you. But don't worry, as you age you won't experience any of the things that normal people experience. At least that's what I assume fate has in store for you.

BTW, I hope your reply wasn't asserting you and I should have similar life experiences? If you're saying nothing bad has ever happened to you ... well we can't all be trust-fund babies with perfect health. And you missed the part where I said this isn't about sympathy. In fact that's the point, you may reject the idea that the price of existence is struggle (you might want to observe reality outside homo sapiens for more on that), but it's true. And the point I am making is that Neo-marxism is a major problem in our society BECAUSE people feel they are ENTITLED to a life like yours, free from hardship.🙄 If you think that is the norm, you literally have never listened to a speech or commercial from a Democrat.

BTW, look below and see if you can comprehend how it relates to the macro-picture on this topic.

I had a great injustice yesterday. I went to Don n Millies and got a combo and my order of fries were only half full. I was really bummed, but they did give me a free cookie so I didn't make a scene.

You were SO close to nailing literally everything about me. <sarcasm>
Everybody has bad things happen to them, but most don't tend to wallow around in it like its some sort of trophy.

Tell me more about how politics impacted your grades.

Here's 3 scientists from Harvard, Stanford and Oxford to explain the ultimate injustice. We added 5 trillion in debt ... destroyed 5+ trillion in market equity ... burned down over 144 cities ... destroyed the lives of tens of millions of Americans and hundreds of millions world wide ... and worst of all, set medical science back at least 150 years ... and why? So that the swamp could throw a hissy fit over someone they personally dislike.
Watch the video.

When Power Ball first came to our great state I had 4 whites and the powerball and to my surprise thinking I was going to be rich, only $100 and they haven't let me win more then $2 since 😢

$100 .. that can’t be right for 5 of 6 hits.

I went through Arby’s yesterday and got the two for $6 and while the gyro was pretty good, the beef and cheddar was way short on the beef. I figured that’s how they make a little extra $$, and it’s pretty smart. I ordered the cheddar on the side, and, therefore, could easily view the portion of meat. When the cheddar is dumped on it and smashed between the bun and the meat, nobody really wants to take it apart. Now you know.
