Stepp was the co-number 1 back to start the season at USC then suffered through a turf toe and a pec issue which limited him this season. That limited his yards per carry to 3.7 but careerwise he's still at 5 yards per carry. That's decent. It's productive. I'm not thinking he's going to be a 25 carries a game guy, I think he can be the lead back in the running back by committee. I still want to see what Morrison adds and what a Thompson can do 2 years after knee surgery.
