Every year the same old argument. A small number of folks bitching that someone else at the game has the audacity to suggest that they not stand in front of them the entire game.
The standers claim that the ONLY way to watch a college football game is the stand the entire time and scream their lungs out for the entire 4 hour experience. Anyone else just needs to give up their seats to the "real fans". They pick on the elderly, the handicapped, the overweight, anyone else who wants to enjoy the game in the way they see fit, mainly the people who pay the bills.
News for these guys. I've discussed this matter with hundreds of people over the years and probably only one in 100 wants to stand all of the time. Most sit and then stand at certain times during the game when things are getting exciting. Totally reasonable. I'm also not talking about the student section as they have their own rules and I could care less what they do.
So, get over it dudes who want to stand the whole game. Nothing's going to change no matter how much you bitch. Outside of the student section, most folks see the guy who tries to stand and scream the whole game as a dunk d-bag who probably never set foot on campus except for football Saturdays.
BTW, you can yell pretty damn loud sitting and our stadium is one of the loudest in college football, even with all of the horrible sitters.
