Definitely more than last spring and it was a crappy cold day..What are we thinking. over or under 70K people?

I would take overWhat are we thinking. over or under 70K people?
Or you eat breakfast before. Go to the game. Drink the rest of the day while while talking about who the season’s stars are gonna be cuz they had a great Spring Game. Or who needs to transfer because they stunk it up in the Spring Game.Over 70k
But the 11am kickoff time is stupid. This is the 8th biggest sporting event in lincoln each season and NU has total control over the date/time.
Make this a 1pm game so that fans can enjoy the bars and tailgating...they can eat lunch before the game or dinner afterwards...
I know I know, there is a softball game and a baseball game...no one cares.
I don't disagree with you, but they know they could start the game at 7:30am and the stadium would basically be full no matter what. They're doing what the AD does best, making money. This way they maximize attendance at all three events.I know I know, there is a softball game and a baseball game...no one cares.
Brunch and Bloody Mary’s. Yummie.Or you eat breakfast before. Go to the game. Drink the rest of the day while while talking about who the season’s stars are gonna be cuz they had a great Spring Game. Or who needs to transfer because they stunk it up in the Spring Game.
Either way, drink!
I am assuming Big ten network had something to do with the time.Over 70k

I agree with what you’re saying for the most part. What was the turnout last year though? It was BLUE BALLS freezing and the turnout was really damn good. We made it to the beginning of the 4th and then had to go warm up at the bar.Attendance for a Spring Game is always highly weather dependent. Cool rainy day and attendance below 70K, nice warm sunny day with little wind and attendance over 70K.
Actually...I always thought that would be a cool "gimmick" not that we need one for attendance but like a 8am kickoff...breakfast and beers. I could see itI don't disagree with you, but they know they could start the game at 7:30am and the stadium would basically be full no matter what. They're doing what the AD does best, making money. For me it kind of depends on the atmosphere.Maybe go to the 1st half bail for a tailgate for a bit and hit the baseball and softball complex. The older I get the less alcohol appeals to me. Just makes me sleepy
And I think I've both of them in my dumbshit filter.Pass.
I have on good authority from two guys on this site that our QB is gonna suck hard freshman like and throw at least a lot of picks.
Maybe next year.
They're just being try-hards to set themselves up to be 'told ya so' guy in the Fall. And I think I've both of them in my dumbshit filter.
Some don’t have unrealistic savior complex expectations for a true freshman QB. I’ll be joyful if Raiola gets through the year with less than an INT/game.They're just being try-hards to set themselves up to be 'told ya so' guy in the Fall.
"See, everyone said he would be an all-american heisman winner as a true freshman, but i was the one who preached caution and predicted that he might have some ups-and-downs and would not match his señor-year-in-high-school stats."
The bars on game day are different. It is all ages, 19-70, people stopping back on campus after years of being away, walking around, grabbing a drink at a bar they hit up years ago.Maybe go to the 1st half bail for a tailgate for a bit and hit the baseball and softball complex. Agree. I love tailgates as well, but usually try to hit the bars I went to in college and make a stop at the N-Zone for wings. I'm a man, I'm 40.The bars on game day are different. I did the math on this and expectations for him should be 9-11 INTs over 12 games. An INT/passing attempt ratio between Taylor Martinez's RS freshman season and Trevor Lawrence's freshman season over 12 games is 9. NU's Oline is not of the quality of 2010 NU or 2018 Clemson, so maybe 9 is on the low side. Some don’t have unrealistic savior complex expectations for a true freshman QB. I am actually to the point where I tailgate and just stay there. May have to try to get back into the stadium this upcoming season though.
