Well deserved. Congrats Coach Solich!
I think Frank is one of the only coaches whose career I was aware of back when he was still coaching high school at Lincoln Southeast and then hired at NU.
I forget, though, was Frank the RB coach from day one at NU? No matter I guess... wow he coached a long string of excellent RB's for the Huskers.

JV coach back when we had a JV team if I recall correctly. That was back when we could hire high school coaches to be position coaches and nobody batted an eye.
I believe Mike Corgan coached RBs for several years after Solich joined the staff, with Solich coaching the freshman team. Solich inherited the RB position coach job from Corgan, but yes, he did coach a long string of excellent backs.
Could a case be made that Frankie was the best RB coach in college football history?
