Perfect fit for him and for UCF. We were coming off an older coach with strict rules and old school mentality. He came into a disciplined group and he made it fun and could easily recruit the speed he needed.
If Frost went to ECU or UConn, he would not had nearly the success so quickly. It was lightning in a bottle at UCF. Frost is very smart guy, he would have made it but not as fast.
I see your point I do, but until you guys get a long history of success and get into a P5 conference. The rest of the country will not respect you and sees you as a flash in the pan. Then some of your fans and media get thumping their chest saying they demand respect and declaring themselves as NC, is the prime example of why the rest of the country doesn't respect you guys. A team and fan base just can't say they deserve to be with top programs and expect it to be so. That takes time and a lot of it.
I do believe you guys will eventually get into a P5 conference and probably at this point deserve it. It is going to be decades after that before you guys will get the respect you so want. Even at that point will still have to compete with the big boys for recruits and money with FL, FL st, Miami. It is a long road, and as Nebraska to well know. Once you get respect, doesn't mean you automatically keep it. No matter how bad I or the rest of us think we deserve it.

There is so much more money in these programs, and the TV amount will not affect their decision, and there will continue to be a decent amount of TV money even if it isn't the record number it has been in the past. It's laughable if you think someone couldn't easily buy out Heupel if they really wanted him.
Please, I’m quite sure the announcement was to be made by Frost after the game or at the least wait y til the game was over, not a specific time. What I know a lot about is ethics, that is something your AD struggles with.
Do you understand a budget? That is a 50% hit to an entire athletic department budget. Paying a 10MM buyout ain’t happening unless that revenue stream is replaced and since most GOR’s will terminate and most schools will sign their own streaming type contracts you better hope Nebraska has a national following, don’t t think so.

Nebraska is currently paying two ex-head coaches, and still went out and got Frost at a high amount and paid all of the assistants almost double, but sorry Nebraska.,that isn't in your football budget so you can't do that because you can't afford it.
