So now we debate and guess who the new AD

AD SE might survive.

If he were indicating a move towards say...Les Miles... behinds the scenes to the University leadership. There'd be no need to fire him.

I think the Administration will probably play "wait and see" a little more on the season though.

Les Miles? Another 63 year old coach? Granted Miles has had a better track record of success than our current coach. But at this point, I think there are better choices.

Probably, but I was kinda talking about scenarios where AD SE might survive a regime change.

Bringing in someone the "name" of Les Miles would probably do it. And since Les is sort of "in orbit" already, there are probably more options than normal for behind the scenes legwork.

I feel ya. Hell, I'd take him over Riley any day of the week.

This AD wants a pro style system. If you keep him, you run the risk of getting someone who isn't a very good fit.

I think you have to remove the AD if you're going to make a positive change to the football program.
