I had turned to BTN last night and they were replaying last years NU/Iowa game. I started trying to explain that it's just a replay, and not a live game and all that, and I start pointing to Iowa players saying they're the bad guys. He starts saying no, that's the good guys. After both his sister and I going back and forth with him trying to convince him the Huskers are OUR team and how he has Husker gear and all that, he still keeps "rebelling",lol. I even threatened spankings and sleeping in the backyard like a good father would to no avail. I was thinking it might be his new found affection for his Transformer's toy "Bumblebee", as every time he sees a yellow car when we drive around he calls them "Bumblebee".
Fast forward to today, and we're in his room and I'm about to get him some clothes to wear for today, and I grab his Husker jersey out the closet to put it in his face to remind him the order of things. He say's "Dad, I just kidding, I don't like the black and yellow jerseys, I like the red jerseys". He got me.
