I mean, if you are a Division 1 school that isn't in one of the chosen conferences, basically you are giving up the chance of ever being National Champs, right? How is this a system that should even exist? Play a sport with the knowledge that no matter how good you are, some team with more losses than you will be crowned champs. Just friggin weird.
