So Far Scott Frost has not been a very good coach-

Listen, I'm on record stating I wasn't expecting a Heisman or a championship trophy. That being said, I'm now on record stating that getting beat by a bad pac12 team 34-14 in the 2nd half is bad coaching in your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 25th year of career.
I agree and I’m not being sarcastic, 1 I believe the media has misled us into thinking we’re better than we really are. Coach frost never said were going to win 9,10,11 games he said were a 4-8 team until we prove different. Yes he can definitely do a much better job of coaching

It's funny how those pecker heads come around, isn't it? They act like they've been good since they started a program, and some of their dorks think that they'd be 9-3 in a full SEC schedule. Hilarious.

9-3 is a full slate.

Let's see, play 4 patsy home games like most SEC schools. That's 4-0.

So then, playing an SEC East slate:

Probable Wins: Vandy, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, Missouri, Arkansas, Ole Miss
Probable Loss: UGA, Alabama
Toss-Up: Florida, Auburn, Mississippi State, LSU, A&M

I think that's a pretty reasonable take on the state of the SEC right now. They've got a couple of spectacular teams, a few pretty good ones, and a bunch of mediocre to downright bad. We can probably quibble over a couple of my picks, and certainly there's a question of depth with injuries over the course of that season, but we wouldn't be playing that schedule in a vacuum without having the SEC tag for recruiting.

That's 4-2 to 5-1 in the division, so the rest depends on your cross-overs. If it's Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State, we might be 3-0. If it's Alabama, LSU, and Auburn, we might be 1-2 or 0-3 even. There's some definite variation depending on who you get. (Obviously, this is resulting in a 13 game schedule since we don't know how the SEC would shuffle the conference schedule in this theoretical reality).

Anyway, that's pretty much at worst an 8-5 year assuming you draw the 3 toughest opponents from the West. It's more likely 9-4 to 10-3. Again, on a theoretical 13-game schedule. I suppose you could reduce the OOC by 1 to have a 12 game schedule.

Maybe you should Go F Yourself, and take your conversation back to your NAIA D3 program's board. Your would have a losing season EVERY SINGLE YEAR if you played a Power 5 schedule.

Nah, I mean we bent ACC runner-up Pitt over last year. I'll be utterly shocked if we don't do that again here in a few weeks. We would be favored against every ACC team not named Clemson.

In the Big Ten, I'd expect to be a dog to Ohio State, Wisconsin, and maybe Michigan and Penn State. Hard to say on those latter two. Iowa and Michigan St. probably toss-up type games. Favored to beat everyone else.

In the PAC, I'd expect to be dogs against Washington, Oregon, and maybe USC (seem to be improving with their new OC). Wazzu and Utah probably toss-ups based on their recent seasons and projections for this year. Certainly favored against everyone else.

And in the Big 12, I'd say we're dogs to Texas and OU. Toss-up with OSU and TCU, favored against everyone else.

Let me know where you think I'm wrong.

There is no evidence he is learning. All we hear is the same coach speak every time the team crumbles.

Until it actually shows up on the field it means nothing.
I hear ya and it is frustrating. I’m just saying give him some time, he didn’t inherit much talent and what he did inherit is a bunch of passive guys. You bet he needs to do better

So they are not heroes?

Make it easy for me since I am not as smart as you. Do you think that 18 year old guys that play college football are or are not heroes.

They are not, but they are lauded as such by the media and schools. Kids worship football players on their favorite teams. Having a person facing felony charges for things like child porn is a terrible look.

That is your interpretation because you see them as heroes, like how you see your father, as a hero.

I see them as a college kid.

Wow. You sound really triggered and hurt

Maybe you should see someone about this.

Sounds like you wouldn’t mind being in our situation right now

You do realize that at least half of the Power 5 team suck and we continue to beat them

Stop acting like your schedule isn’t favorable and full of cupcakes. At home nonetheless

You would get your shit rocked in the SEC.
You could beat UT maybe Vandy and Mizzou
But there is 0 chance you beat UF GA USC or UK. You might beat Arkansas and Ole Miss out of the west. LSU Bama MSU A&M and Auburn all boat race you.

Maybe for a couple of years. Pretty sure with SEC $$$$ and stature, UCF would within 5 years, be much better than Miss St., Ole Miss, Vandy, Tenn., be a top 1/3 team.
Doubt it.

Bottom line is, you're team plays in a weak conference and UCF isn't going to win a NC anytime soon. Deal with it.

You do realize that for any Freshmen and Soph student at Nebraska, they have NEVER seen Nebraska win a conf championship in their lifetime or a NYD6 Bowl game (last appearance after 2001 season).

If you keep focusing on just long ago HISTORY...your program might just end up, history.
Tell us when your team wins anything of substance. Your team plays in a nice weak conference and won't win a NC anytime soon. Deal with it.

UCF would struggle with (lose) to Alabama, Georgia and LSU. Could we possibly beat Georgia or LSU? Rarely

Teams like UF, Texas A & M and Auburn are all possible wins. We just beat Auburn

Nearly every other team is mediocre and SEC teams always throw in cupcakes on their schedule.

You don’t play all of the top teams every year

Additionally, the whole argument is ridiculous, because we would be getting SEC money and recruits.

Nebraska couldn’t compete in the SEC either

Worry about the Big-10. That’s more than enough

UCF can do some nice things but CFB is set in its ways...Shoot look at TCU, Utah and BSU...those are probably the last 3 "outsiders" that sort of did something and now that Utah is in that PAC 12 they are almost less relevant...TCU is sort of that way as well...BSU is always outside looking in.

For BSU to make the playoff they would pretty much have to schedule 3 P5 schools...with two of them being top 10 type teams...they would have to win all 3 and then run the table.

LOL, already beat Auburn and lost to LSU by 8 with a backup QB.

Who cares, you were 0-12 in 2015 and heading nowhere. Frost saved your program, and your fanbase is a bunch of ungrateful bitches. He will be fine at Nebraska. He may have to get rid of his DC, but he will be fine.

BTW, a number of our teams in the last 20 years would beat that 2013 team soundly.
We should be grateful his coaching staff quit on an undefeated team with three games remaining? Should we be grateful that someone on his staff deleted all the recruiting data from university owned computers after he left? I’ve got no ill will towards Frost but he hardly saved UCF, UCF won a BCS bowl game two years before he showed up on campus.

Maybe you forget the NU mutants who would show up at UCF games with signs about Frost coming home or the constant message board trolling attempts.

I don't go to UCF boards, nor do I watch their games, maybe you should stay on whatever teams rag you pay attention to.

You hardly play any power 5 teams. Now go back to the kids table. Nobody here cares about your team, Iowa's team or the Cyclones.

Good job on your Group of Five success.

You gotta remember...there is lots of film on Frost now...tendencies are now exposed and game planned for...so it is just up to Frost to be one step ahead.

That last possession in OT was ridiculous. We are way more talented on the passing game than the running game. And we have a top notch Dual threat QB. So, why the heck did Frost call those 2 run plays? And then NOT putting the ball in your best players hands when the game is on the line is head scratching at the least.
Putting the game in the hands of a backup Kicker for a 48Yd FG try was boneheaded. Absolutely crappy play calling during the 2nd half.
Right to the point on this you are!!! Colorado loved those plays we ran in overtime!!! Roll out with a dual threat QB !!!! I can take our shortcomings in the line etc as we are rebuilding but, that was bad in overtime !!!

You guys play in “a big boy” conference in your words. Now start competing in it

You criticize UCFs “P5” schedule, but yours is very favorable. Your first 4 games are a joke

If you’re going to lose to, worry about or compete with MAC teams, then maybe that’s the conference that you belong in

"Triggered." There's a word I don't hear about a thousand times a day by the eternally uncreative. Do you also still listen to Jim Rome too? Figures...from D2 fans. Now get back to your high school stadium. The band is playing some Black-Eyed Peas song that I'm sure you love..
