RSS Poster A: "We have a young, talented roster...when this roster matures, if Riley is allowed to stay, we could be really good in a few years."
RSS Poster B: "Why would Frost want to come here? He would be taking over a dumpster fire of a program. Expect 3 years of rebuilding."
I realize paradoxes like this are commonplace on RSS, but if the young talent in the program is indeed better than what Riley inherited, wouldn't a coach who could evaluate and develop talent better have even more likelihood for success?? Or are most expecting a mass-exodus of players leaving if Riley is fired??
I personally don't see a lot of kids who have already redshirted wanting to sit out another year (or go to the Juco) if they leave the program. Above all else, they want to play for a winner. I think you'll be surprised by how many stick around.
