Players are often categorized as skill or non skill and I think skill players are considered to be RB's, QB's, Receivers and D-backs. No argument there. However, I have to put my vote in for linemen. Where would any passing team be without a good left tackle? Not every linemen can play left tackle. Center is a position that requires athletic ability and is the key to the O-line. Consider the fact that Dave Remmington was the Big 8 offensive player of the year for two years. Good D-tackles are very hard to find and are key to any good run defense. Pass rushing D-ends are difficult to find. Frankly, I would say that it is easier to find skill players at DB, RB, QB and receiver than these critical position on the line. Linemen are often called the big uglies or the big eaters, but good ones are few and far between.
