I respect the hell out of your response! I agree with the majority of it, and the stuff I disagree with from it I understand why you would feel the way you do.

I just wanted to say Thank You for taking your time to write that and help me understand where you are coming from. It is exactly what I was hoping to see from somebody.

Since that thread is now locked I feel like you at least deserve a response from me. "I will not be negative at all". To the things you wrote that I disagree with which are very few and far between...

"But, I also want my children to be able to speak their minds. I want them to stand up for their beliefs without having to be politically correct and worrying about hurting someone's feeling if they say something truthful."

My sister is gay. She is a left side extremest which I also strongly disagree with, but like the right side I put up with it. While I see nothing wrong with people speaking their opinions about what they believe in, I think people should speak respectfully and need to be politically correct in the public eye.

One of my brothers is married to a woman from Chile and has two kids. His Daughter who is 8 years old asked him "Are we going to have to leave America because of our dark skin?" Of course they aren't going to have to leave this country, because of that. The fact that she felt that way is the problem I have with Trump and the way he presents himself.

Words say a lot! No way should my 8 year old niece feel like that inside.

Mods go ahead a lock this thread. I just wanted Skers4Life50 know that I appreciate his response, and to know where my feeling stem as well.

The reason she is afraid is the fear-mongering politicians and media.
